I have found that crouching and standing in this game dont make the reticle any smaller so i dont bother now unless im trying to stay hidden.

sigh* looks like that's something I'm going to have to relearn. I've been trained from BF2142 to always hit crouch and then open fire if I'm caught in someone's sights.

Well in 2142 people would crouch spam while shooting, but the difference isnt so much the accuracy as it is the fact that crouching in this game is really slow, all of the movement in this game is really slow... its a slow moving game, that moves slowly.

Can't remember the source be read that it does not improve accuracy. Crouching only makes you a smaller target, good for long range and hiding. If it is close up better to stand and strafe.

Crouching depends on the weapon and the specialty you're using with said weapon.

I don't think I've ever heard of "crouch-spamming" before! LOL

I'd lay odds that there is a small deviation increase per shot after the first round on automatic which crouching eliminates or diminishes. Small bursts of 2-4 rounds probably negates it and I bet that non-autofire weapons such as shotguns and pistols are unaffected by your stance. But, I have no data to share, so this is all opinion.

And is your accuracy with weapons at the end of match, the same or better? Do you kill more or less?
