you may get these shop you got BC2 from in trouble?.I got BF2 about 5 days early and was told to keep it very quiet and not go online or try register it.:salute:

Lame, I have it on Steam but steam hasn't started allowing downloads yet. I'm on a 1.5mbps connection, so you know how bad that makes me feel, haha. How big was the file? It's going to take me ages to download, I already know it.

The torretn was 5.8 GB heavily compressed; maybe somebody can tell how big was the EAD downlaod, and we might get something similar to that.

Edit: sorry I got the numbers backwards, I meant to post 5.8 from the beginning.

Direct 2 Drive was 5.41 GB. Took about 25-35 minutes.

Well everybody and there brother must be down loading it now.I usually get 4-500 kbs download from D2D,tonight i am getting 65 kbs,Says it will take 1 day and 3 hrs to finish lol.

I'm guessing Steam will be the same way. That's why everyone is so irritated at the lack of a pre-load or even word on if one is still going to happen. At this rate the game I pre-ordered over a month in advance won't be playable until the weekend after release...

File was big but downloaded VERY fast on EADM. Took about half hour.

EADM european is live as of now. Still no Steam.
