No more seat switching in the gunships. You try to change to the front seat and boom straight in the ground.:yay:

Yaaaaay, back to being forced to redline people. If thats possible. I played taxi so many times, taught so many people online on how to use the gunners position, but at a certain point the dedicated chopper crews and soloers made it impossible to play with a newbie gunner.Comment

Re: Thanks be to the gods!
Without TVGMs, soloing would be worthless anyway. Rockets are better than the bursts from the chain gun unless you're spamming infantry.Comment

No doubt. One person is SUPPOSED to be able to control the entire match and determine the play experience and fun for 31 other people.Originally posted by Kylee!Oh my goodness, I kno rite?
Who would actually play the game it's supposed to be played???Comment

The majority of players don't like people who whore choppers all the time.Originally posted by [Expletive Deleted]No doubt. DICE seems to agree. BF2->BF2142->BC2 has made teamwork in vehicles more and more important.Originally posted by Rambobetter players teamwork and share:gob_icon_evil:
I hope they also continue the trend with making vehicles more reasonably balanced against infantry. It was hard to tell from the Beta because the homing rocket launcher was missing, and that seems to be the primary AA weapon.Comment

Re: Thanks be to the gods!
It was a bit unbalanced in the beta, I think, but I didn't have too many problems. Maybe that was mostly because there were a lot of noobs in the vehicles a lot of the time. Occasionally there'd be someone really good in the chopper or a T90 and they'd just pwn the other team mercilessly.Originally posted by VrekiDICE seems to agree. I agree. I enjoyed showing people how to do things in the game but it was strange that all of a sudden everyone was soloing and you can forget playing in the air at all with someone. If you did happen to beat a good soloist their jet would then ram you.Originally posted by Chris_RedfieldYaaaaay, back to being forced to redline people. If thats possible. I will never forget Luke. He was a competitive heli player. Id knock him out of the air once in a blue moon while everyone ran around getting raped. Its all he knew how to do in BF2 though. We pounded him into the dust whenever it was a map with no helis and he would leave till the map changed to one with a heli. He was a good guy, but MAN it was tough trying to play with him in a chopper.
It is a bit sad that all these measures have to be put into place to stop something like this. I know airpower is suppose to be the end all of a battle, but this is a game and there is nothing fun when you have AA that can't hit a hovering target. Helis do get shot down with small arms fire now and again.
But anyway, it was all fun if not frustrating at times.
