      BF2 had stats.

And they didn't release mod tools yet because of the Frostbite engine's complexity.

FFoW was rich with potential and poor in execution.I agree that KAOS pushed it out the door way too quickly in order to meet targets that weren't set by the guys actually writing the code.

The trailer looks so so...kinda FFoW meets Red Dawn meets Invasion USA.There were spiffy looking trailers for FFoW too and the game play ended up being asstacularly bad.

As for planning a part 2 already...sell a working, sustainable game before you start planning sequels.

they thought they could be like dice and release a beta as final. only dice could do that and get away with it.

FFOW failed because it had no anti-cheat right out of the gate for PCs and was overrun by haxors the minute if was launched. I agree the beta was fun but toward the end it had too many hacks too which wound up bleeding into the final game. It's too bad, it really did have possibilities with it's BF2ish feel, squads and spawning on squad leaders. I'm not holding out too much hope for this one either.

Take into account it was their first full game, im sure they have more than learned from their mistakes for this title
