Ok well i have played the beta on the PC for about 25 hours now and also played the demo on the xbox 360 for about 10 hours and i have noticed a very big difference between the two. Firstly i will say that performance issues regarding the PC in comparison to the console may be due to the fact that one is a beta and the other is demo and possibly a much later build.
Firstly i have to say and it saddens me but this game after playing it on both is very clearly meant for consoles and has been ported to the computer. The difference in main menu screens between the two is striking with imo the console main screen, stats page and progress page being much better and much more efficient at keeping track. The console menu screen flows much better than the PC which up until now i had no problems with.
I also noticed that in the beta it takes a while to process your score and unlock progression with the score you just received in the last game, i understand this may be due to the beta, however on consoles it is done much faster and you can join a game again in a matter of seconds instead of waiting for your rank to update.
The difference between the server browser and the match making is no different to any other game really. The match making usually finds a game instantly without problems. However the PC server browser at the moment is very flawed in the aspect you cant access your favorite servers without having to load the entire list of servers first.
In terms of gameplay the most noticeable difference for me was the fact that bullets on the 360 seem to be a lot more powerful and the hit registration on the consoles is simply 100% better than that on the PC. This was also noticeable in a laggy server where performance might have hindered the results but still brought back what i believed to be true. The guns themselves also seem to be a lot more accurate due to the fact a lot of recoil has been taken out of the console version which begs the question, is the recoil in the PC version what is causing the inaccurate weapons?
In terms of visuals and sound the PC wins hands down but this isnt to say that the 360's visuals are bad by any means.
This is just my observations so far for anyone wondering what the differences are or you are tied between which platform to get the game on. I personally have pre-ordered the game for PC but i am not 100% sold that this game will be better on PC rather than on a console.
