Well, I've seen people with 8800GTs, Pentium Ds, and 2GB RAM talking about how they're getting 60 fps in DX 10 and 75 in DX 9. I get crap in both.
There has to be some special ingredient (setting, driver, hardware combo) that makes it tick. Maybe the trick is going AMD with a crippled version of Windows XP Media Center...
