honestly though, BC2 has nothing on MW2's infantry vs infantry combat. it's much more smoother and accurate and shots hit more reliably where you aim for the most part.

One reason i never really liked cod5 with its' tanks.

I have to say, I feel MW2 was a good game, it kept me entertained for many many hours of what I could call fun, and I don't regret buying it. But it just felt so arcadey, it felt like it wasn't a war game, more like TF2 trying to be serious, and after probably too many hours of it I find it stale and boring.

BC2 on the other hand just has that awe about it, not that new game feeling MW2 had. The sounds, the effects, the destruction, it just really sticks you right in the middle of a proper battle and I can't help but think "F**k me, this is AMAZING". I love that feeling of when a tank rolls down a hill and you just s**t your pants, because you know if it see's you, your gonna have to do something extra ordinary not to die, seeing that building fall down infront of you.

I don't think words can describe the feeling of BC2, but it is a proper BATTLEFIELD game, even if it isn't BF3, whereas Modern Warfare 2. Well with its IWnet and its really arcadey style, to me, it was just a filler to keep me entertained, it did a good job of that, and that's it.

I played BFBC2 beta today, I have to say for me it is pretty meh.

I haven't played the beta yet, but I think I'm about to give up MW2 for BFBC2. IW already has my money so I doubt they will care, however I will not buy DLC.

The posts about moving towards BFBC2 because of Dedicated Servers is correct. The other games without this feature may stay within consoles popularity, but in the PC community, its a must. I have played the beta and it is fun. Not the run-n-gun stuff, but fun. Have to work as a team a little more.

The numbers will tell when it comes out in March.

Playing on laggy P2P sessions just isn't my thing, moving to BFBC2 on the 4th of March.

I've pre-ordered BFBC2 for my birthday based on my time with the Beta.

I love how it forces/tricks people into working as a team and even rewards people for working as a squad. Each class has something to contribute and none can really go it alone.
I get with three other members of my clan and we keep each other alive and full of ammo while killing EVERYTHING. We pretty much always come in as the top squad.

It could use some tweaking and balancing, but after playing, as a clan, nothing but CoD games we've decided to drop our CoD4 server and make the move to BFBC2. There seems to be nothing good on the horizon, at least for clans or people who hate cheaters and lag, in the CoD world.

Well atleast BFBC2 isnt going to have a £50/$60 price tag on it.

Ive been playing it alot and prefer it to CoD, CoD's alright if you want to run about like a headless chicken, but I prefer BC2 theres more space to move and you dont have to squbble over hiding spots.. Plus theres the advantage of being able to destroy things if you dont have a clear LoS.

I don't understand why people keep bringing up the price.
Here MW2 was 99.95, BFBC2 is only 10 dollars cheaper at 89.95.
How is that so important?

BFBC2 with MW2 infantry combat would be nice. BC2's infantry combat is lacking in some areas, it's no where refined as MW2's.

Its funny how much ppl want to see this game dead including me just to say "see i was right" :P but lets face it its not going to happen this is one of those games that will keep on going like cs 1.6
