Yeah, I read his post on that before that thread got locked and all I can say is he's either used to it, living in denial, BSing, or the luckiest SOB to ever play BF.
Some say that the reg has gotten worse with the patches. Honestly I don't know if that's the case or not, because 1.0 was so long ago I don't remember playing it, all I know is that after playing single player FPS games where all your shots reg to BF where it's a 'sometimes they do, sometimes they don't' kind of deal it's no fun. I've yet to reinstall either BF2 or BF2142 because every time I remember how fun they can be, I stop and remember bullets not damaging enemy soldiers, tank rounds going poof on moving cars, AT missiles going through helicopters, and me dying instantly to just about any gun.
