MW2 is a fun game, it's enjoyable. That said, I get so much more out of playing CoD4. I get a polished game, dedicated servers, just as many players online (if not more), mods, and so much more. Why would I keep playing MW2?

well i went back to play cod4 but it rly feels empty and cold MW2 has so many things you can do and it feels very rich in a way of how the maps look and and weapons. That to the side what s going on whit MW2 right now ? it seems it getting worst whit every update they make. Before i had no lag at all but latly i have laggy games only ?

CoD4, at least to me, is anything but empty. I'm a competitive gamer, so of course CoD4 caters more towards gamers like myself, but even from a non-competitive standpoint I still think MW2 is inferior - I had to restrain myself from saying garbage. The map design is very poor in my opinion, the graphics didn't improve much, the gameplay is unbalanced, and all of that combined with the removal of features from CoD4, I just can't see why anybody would choose MW2 over CoD4 (aside from it being new). Finally, I don't agree with you when you say that MW2 feels very rich, as it feels very unpolished, rushed, and chaotic to me.

i am wondering how you find map design to be poor and the gameplay to be unbalanced.... and then which features from cod4 did they remove that you feel shouldnt have?

Enjoyable to you but this game frustrates me to no end. I can only play for about an hour, anything after that I start cussing.
Modern Warfare 2 has continued to interest me only through its callsigns, achievements and unlockables. If it weren't for these factors, I would be floating between this and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Im not getting bored and i think people are jumping to conclusions especially as the xbox players keep growing. Not to mention we will probably see an influx of noobs in the next day thanks to people getting it for xmas.

So you don't think the IW and Steam forums will be flooded on Xmas and the day after with PC gamers who got it for Xmas without doing the homework? If you played CoD4 on the PC and bought MW2 without obsessing over news the way most people on this site do, wouldn't you expect the MP to be roughly the same as MW only newer and better?
You play on Xbox, so it's better in pretty much every way for you. I see this game lasting until the next IW CoD on consoles. But I don't see it lasting very long on the PC due to the various unavoidable technical issues with IWNet.

im sorry but i really dont see what people dont like about this game. it is newer, i dont think better, but then not worse either. it is different.
