Just change your name in steam

That only changes the nickname, he has profiles with different class setups for pub and competition.

It's still 5 default and 5 custom, don't know if there's extra slots for prestige.

You gain more the higher you get.
Once you enter first prestige you gain 1 extra slot, you gain more as you level up but i am unsure how much.

Basically explains it, It is for cod4 but there are only really slight differences such as rank and the emblems for prestige. I will try to look for a MW2 version.
