I haven't played it since the beta ended, that's how much fun I thought it was.

hmm... I heard the reasoning behind the move from the other party involved. They did have a point.

          Was that a secret point?
And they still broke their word with regards to Battlefunds giving an advantage

I still play BF-H every now and then. I just spend like 20$ or something in the beginning, bough all the permanent guns and clothes I wanted then didn't buy anything.

I do still think DICE aren't keeping their promise but they're not getting money if I play so I'll keep playing this fun game.

instead of talking about it here, you guys really ought to ask dice directly like going to their tweeter pages.

What would the point be in that?
There are already plenty of people telling them how the feel about this. For EA its all a matter of profit or not.

But it tells us something important about their credibility.

well how about asking them why they changed what they promised from the beginning? even if they can't change it, maybe you can get an answer out of them.

My super-secret source said they did it to milk money out of the people they've gotten hooked. And my super-secret source is just as valid as yours.

To ask someone why they are lying seems like a waste of time to me. Are you going to believe what they tell you?

Besides I would only accept excuses like "To save a baby form a burning house", and we all know that the real answer is "To make more money".

I myself really enjoy 2142 ingame ads, and I do not see how they do not fit into the game seamlessly. They do not affect your gameplay whatsoever.
