But we're not going to get dedis added, IW created IWNet, and to be pretty honest, they'd look quite stupid if they went ahead and gave us what we wanted.

Exactly. We didn't get Dedis added, and if consoles (only) get filters, it would make IW look more stupid than if they had given the PC community Dedis.

However, I've actual found IWNet and its match making in the UK to be quite good, even if that does put me in with Russians and Italians the whole time

IW won't add a region filter.

It's too code intensive and would slow down the matchmaking process, keeping people out of battle for several minutes more than currently, especially at low-load times.

Then they'll start complaining about how it takes too long to do matchmaking. Yeah, I don't quite see this panning out at all.

With the sales that consoles made, why would they listen to PC gamers over consoles...?

That logic doesn't really work with IW. CoD4 sold very well on PC and it's in the top 5 most popular FPS. Yet they decided not to listen to us at all. So clearly, regardless of what happens, they're not going to listen to us.

They can't look at it that way. They need to look at it relative to other PC games. It's not fair to do direct comparisons because PC is not a console. It's not as mainstream, so of course it's not going to sell as much. They can't be expecting the same amount of sales on each system. There's differences even between the PS3, 360, and Wii.

It's would be like Lamborghini getting upset because they're not selling as many cars as Honda.

Not really, because the profit ratios are different. Lambo wouldn't mind because they sell cars for a lot more... but if anything, PC gamers cost less.

Well, it wasn't the greatest example. I tried showing how each one caters to a different crowd. Either way, though, they still shouldn't be having the same expectations for both PC and consoles.

Yup, this is business. They are not out there to please everyone, only their shareholders.

Profit is always the #1 priority.
