What I meant that there is no DICE Canada to kill the game like it did Battlefield 2.

100% agree DICE Canada destroyed, C4 chocking, Black Hawk Ownage and a lot of stuff that 1.0 had, that was better and didn't need to be nerfed.

        Re: Competitive play

I thought squad hopping in BF2 made the game much more competitive and dynamic. Especially with the all seeing eye of the commander. It made sneaking actually possible.

But I'll address concerns about this in BC2 that some may have that didn't like it. I don't know how each map or game mode is structured in final game since there is only one in the beta so take this with a grain of salt. But if they are similiar then most of the fighting at any one time is around two points. Because of this squad spawning doesn't have the effect that it did in BF2. In BF2 it allowed you to get just one guy to a rear point and then drop half the team on him. Because the fighting was map wide this meant you could attack in force anywhere on the map rapidly provided someone was alive. With the big maps it provided a big advantage to an attacker since they could be anywhere at anytime.

But because the fighting in BC2 is concentrated in a much smaller area that effect is greatly lessened.
