Everytime i try to change a Video setting of ANY sort (On multiplayer) my game crashes with a directX error. Only occurs on MP. Im stuck playing 640x640

Have you updated your DirectX just to be sure? Perhaps also make sure your drivers are all updated to the latest? -

You might be able to edit your mp_config.cfg to change the resolution out-of-game. In CoD4 it was seta r_mode "1600x1200" for example.
I've also heard of this problem being caused by Xfire before with other games, so you could try killing all your extraneous apps (including Steam in-game).Comment

Alright, to fix this i uninstalled and DELETED my entire MW2 folder in .../steam/steamapps/commonfiles folderComment
