Doesn't surprise me. CoD4 was hot off the heels of BF2, trying to take over the community. Now they're implementing a very similar hack-prevention system. Anyone remember the good old days of BF2? Then the days before and after CoD4 came out?

Edit: The funny thing is, I bet they're coding the hacks for the same reason people code viruses for PC. IW may wise up.

VAC uses a delayed ban system anyways, so even if it works perfectly, they are still going to get to play fora while before their account gets nuked.

The only reason that TF2 doesn't have more hacks is the incredibly dedicated server admins and tight night communities that put the eye on new players.

Well, if you notice, Steam is updating MW2 like everyday, so they will get whats coming to them. ****ers.

They will have also wasted like £35 on a game, just to hack. There are no cracked servers for them to play on rofl.

But there are already people working with Hamachi to bypass IWNet, so only legitimate players will be forced to play with hacks. I'm guessing the Hamachi admin can kick people by cutting their "LAN."

What about the skill based matchmaking system? Wouldn't all these 'uber l33t' hackers end up playing against each other as they're just too good to play with normal people, eventually they'll be matched with people who are also using hacks.

I suppose it depends on if the skill matchmaking thing actually works.

At any rate it'll be interesting to see what happens to people who shoot up the ladder with scores that are beyond suspicion.

This one looks to be very similar, but it has more features. It even tells the cheater when someone is aiming at them. I'm not sure if the other one had that, and Activision has been removing them. If no one can prove it's happening, it isn't happening, right?
