Do I need to go make a thread stating why I don't care that you bought this game?

      YES, YOU :rawr

Im glad Defekt made a thread like this because even though COD is dead, Modern Warfare is not. Its just a different game and maybe one day down the road it will change again.

CoD died right when 3 came out and we didn't even know it.

Have fun and I hope it works for you.

I hope it does too! I'm a poor college kid so forking over $60 for this was not easy :dead:.

Game is already $50 at Fry's, some friends are picking it up their later today. I'm having so much fun, there is just sooo much to unlock and the matchmaking and host migration is working very well.

I'm surprised that you find MW2 fun to be quite honest, given your complaints in the past.

A price drop and a no-killstreaks/perks playlist are still required for me to justify a purchase. Granted, I don't have any friends that are getting it for PC. If I wanted to play with them online I'd have already bought another X360.

It's also in part due to the fact that CoD4 competition is officially over. There will be one final CEVO sponsored tournament, but interest in the game is waning - so if I want to just pickup a game, I feel I can do it better with MW2 than MW.

Out of principle I still won't buy this game.
I watched a few live streams and it does look mighty tempting it really does but I refuse to give my money to a company that has just basicly **** all over my friends and I.

Even if IWnet works or not, the way they handled delivering the info and the statements was more than enough for me to turn my nose up at Infinity Ward.

There is an option to turn off all perks and killstreaks at the same time.

So, now you need the price drop.

I know you can for a private match, but I was talking about the playlists. If only I had 17 friends on all the time though...

I should also note that those are necessary, not sufficient, conditions for a purchase.

I had my doubts about this game too but bought it and am actually quite enjoying it, the MP especially.

I think no one has a problem with the content and gameplay of the game, it looks amazing. The reason I don't buy it is because the developers don't deserve 60€ for a game with so many flaws that are about customer care.

If it is not that much, why should they raise it. The point is that we get nothing more for 10€. Do you always pay more than you normaly need to without questioning?

Isn't CdWOW selling asian copies or something?

And still, its about the regular price the want in every normal retail store.
