I think they are too big to pull that kind of stunts.
Besides that, the games is listed at English language AND will be registered on steam, so I don't think it matters much.

I saw somewhere that steam will download the language packs to match your steam account, regardless of the game language. But you might want to verify that if you buy a foreign version

I think it's pretty :awesome of you to give the game a chance despite what you've said before. I don't think I would've ever given the game a chance without dedicated servers and all that, even though I've never even played competition before. Props. :salute:

Hope you're having fun. How are those 2x stuns working out for you?

I bought the game as it was something new and CoD 4 was getting quite boring. Although I really really really think dedicated servers would be brilliant! This stupid console host stuff is just killing the PC version. Sure everyone will probably still buy it but it wouldn't take much to add in dedicated servers, in-fact I would pay to have it included!

I bought it because the SP in CoD4 was extremely new and exciting. MW2 SP has followed up in that respect. Even with the lack of dedicated servers and support IW has given to the PC community, I still feel the game's SP justified buying. CoD4 is by no means dead, maybe competitively, but I never enjoyed the CoD franchise competitively throughout it's existence. MP is alright, much much slower-paced than CoD4 and the lower number of allowable players is disheartening. However, if you're looking for a solid SP experience it is absolutely worth it. There's always the chance that IW adds official dedicated support. And the MP is still slightly fun to play, but deffinitely not near the same experience.

Gonna go play CoD4 online now.

Holy crap is that prototype from BF2? Haven't seen you on the forums for quite some time.

Just to clarify, you bought a whole new game just so you could pub again? I think it's time you quit your team, when it gets the point that your not enjoying the competitive side of the game it's time to leave.

It looks like you basically bought a brand new game to avoid playing competitively which from where I'm standing just seems like sending $60 down the tube.

Well, desiring to compete in Call of Duty 4 is different from wanted some form of competition, because CoD4 is dead. Gone are the days where you could find more than 2 scrims a day, and gone are the days where legit players actually play.

I'll be playing MW2 with my teammates for fun, we all recognize that Call of Duty 4 is dead, at least in NA, and honestly we just need something fresh. Like I've said in the past, I enjoy competing, but when it gets to the point that you've memorized every single map, every single nade, every jump and you just play it over and over against the same people you need to find a new game.

I easily could have wasted $60, and already know I've wasted $10 thanks to the price increase, but I needed something new. I can guarantee that if - that's a big if - IW implements the ability to record there will be competition in MW2. People are already talking about CTF games and rule sets, so the potential is there.

LOL@ paying 60 bucks for 3.5 hours of Single Player. Thats 20 bucks an hour, Proto. Regardless, Its nice to see some old faces, even if through tragedy.

Next stop, BFBC2 chopper whoring? I know Im out of a job so I might expand some horizons with the old chopper pilots?

I remember playing with you guys, especially predrag. Never joined your guys' later crews but they were good times.

60 dollars is not that much money, and the SP is replayable in my opinion. Haven't touched Spec Ops(people say it's fun, I'm skeptical), and I have been on MP a little. It's a fun game.

BFBC wasn't good, and I'm not expecting anything out of BC2, is it still console only?

PC too, supposedly "taylored for PC players needs" as said by DICE representative. The fanboys have gone crazy about their dedicated server support but Im reserving my judgement.

No prone either. But its the best there is, considering the only alternative is BF2 or BF2142.
