IMO its a cheap money grab trick/marketing ploy for kids with credit cards:laugh:

Read Kirk's post directly above yours. TF2 on sale for $2.48? What about the L4D 4-packs? You get 4 for the price of 3; it's an amazing deal if you and 3 other friends want to buy the game.

Steam offers great deals all the time on various titles. You'll never see Gamestop or Wal-Mart have such deals as they do.

I didnt say it a rip of,ovcourse thats not the case at those prices.But its a push in your face and sometimes to buy more games that one needs or will ever get time to play.

If a kid of 12 got dads credit card he might get so many he spends all day infront of the lcd screen.

Im not a huge fan of downloading 10 gig but the prices are good

I find my self JUST SAYING NO to the games sometimes. The prices can be toooo great. Some games that I don't even think Ill play that long I'm tempted to buy!

well its gotten worse since they started allowing you to save your credit card information, it takes me maybe 10 seconds to buy games off there now....that's been far to convenient for my own good.

make sure to use a strong password on steam because all the games you buy on it are tied to your account.
