That's not the point. The point is people should have the option to play on bigger servers if they want, but because IW "want it to be played how they balanced it"/ported it from a console, you can't.

Right. The higher the player limit, the more options there are, which means more people will be happy. If the player limit was 40 people per server, you can still have smaller servers. But if the player limit is 18, then you obviously can't have more than 18.

BF2 (64 players)
You: 10vs10
Me: 32vs32

CoD4 (50 players)
You: 8vs8
Me: 25vs25

A game with 18 players limit
You: 9vs9
Me: Not playing at all because the option for more people doesn't exist.

No, you get like increased health for 10 seconds right after you respawn, or something like that.

Spawn invulnerability for 5 seconds or until you shoot. Spawn killing fixed.

9v9 isn't that bad, I purposely played 9v9s today in CoD:WaW. It's certainly better than having like 40 players per server which becomes a lagfest and too much action going on.

64 for me is fine, 9v9 leaves no breathing room, you can't really hide and makes the place feel barren. It also looses the feeling of a "war" going on.

don't compare this to battlefield. smaller maps call for smaller capacity. i'm fine with 9v9.

i wasn't comparing it to battlefield but if you have a small map it is just a nade spam and little sniping room.
