I hope Treyarch do make us proud with another installment in the series that the PC market can really sink their teeth into.

Yeah, funny how a year ago they were the most hated? apparently they only made CoD knock off's for the consoles

And now they are the local hero?

          Oh well.

W@W was a pretty solid game, nothing amazing, the whole CoD gameplay/series is starting to show its age in the game though. Only so many games you can pump out that are the same.

@Those who think Vietnam will be cool. The whole cod ethos (similar to CS) PVP intense, fast paced very close combat fights. The Vietnam war was much more an insurgent war, similar to what you see in Afghaistan now, the only conventional battles that actually included the NVA (conventional wing the army) were rare, and mostly US victories. Personally, it just does not feel like a event in history that you can fit a game like CoD into.

I would much rather Trey to create more original games.

Not many developers do go for Vietnam though, really, do they?
Battlefield touched on it, but not in a story mode.

Without getting too political over the Vietnam War, a) it was a war the US lost. b) They weren't necessarily the right side.

Korea, i don't feel was a large enough conflict for a full game.

So it's a harder sell than WW2 where you know who the bad guys are and which side to fight on, and we all know that the allies win in the end.

Still, it's not been done to death like WW2, so bring it on.

I'd like either Vietnam, or perhaps a more civil war approach of smaller wars such as the Kosovo conflict or Somalia, things that people dont know much about.

The area i'd like them to do, if i'm completely honest, is WW2 Europe.

But, instead of just your Normandy Landing/Russian Invasion, Have things like Battle of The Bulge and Dunkirk and Stalingrad, playable by a grunt in the german army.

I'm sick to death of all these righteous games where they dont show the other side.

              Bosnia/Serbia?

A bit abstract, but a conflict none the less.

Should we get our translations books if they do go with the Kosovo War? Or should we get Rosetta Stone?

I would love to see a Vietnam. It needs to be done. Think of all the epic battles ranging from lush jungles to the Streets of Hue.

I actually didn't buy WAW because i was tired of the old style war games. But since MW2 is turning out to be what it is, i am going to pick it up this weekend.

                          Long live PC FPS.

futuristic setting would own hard if done right. I`m not talking about Star Wars/Star Trek kinda future with lighsabers and other ghey stuff like that. More like Killzone 2+ Mass Effect.
