huh are bipods something you have to deploy? i thought it was passive and it was always attached to the MGs.

You have to hit the F key and it deploys.

In regular mode it usually gives an indicator when you are at a spot you can use it.

oh DOH, i guess i'll try that out then. that's what i get for playing hardcore only. i do know about mounting it on windows and short walls though.

I don't know which is the most overpowered, but I can definitely tell you the M1 Garand is my favorite. It is accurate, and it's a two shot kill even on those pesky jugernaughts. I just love the weapon, for me it's everything I need, power, accuracy, reload speed, ammo capacity.

STG44 is definitely the easiest and most effective weapon for anyone to play on any map. It has range, little to no noticeable recoil, good rate of fire, good capacity, extremely accurate, and best when burst fired. Hands down the best weapon, that also can be silenced.

Bolts #1 Favorite personally.

That's the default use key, jes, so I would use the E key for me, my use key? I've never actually used/tried the bipod, so I was wondering. I usually am a mover or I sneak around, but I'm not usually one to stay in one spot.

The BAR + bipod is pretty beastly.

The reason they took out the bipod when proning was due to a glitch on console whereby you could go prone, deploy the bipod, and then move forward to give yourself unlimited ammunition. However, they did say you could still mount the bipod on a surface, since surface-mounted MGs were unaffected by the glitch. Treyarch removed the capability to bipod when proned for the same reason, although no one figured out how to do it on PC.

i still can't figure out how to deploy the bipod while prone. i know how to do it on short walls and on windows but not on the ground proning. wth?

You cant. Its disabled with prone.

Yeah it's ridiculous that they would remove something on the PC that is a console issue. Another nerf, I really lost a lot of respect for Treyarch when they did that. Completely pointless and ruined an amazing feature that isn't in many games.

So no more effective suppressing anymore, oh well.

well they have to make both versions as similar as possible one would think.

sucks though that i never got to try the bipod while proning.
