It's not "in WoW" per se, since it's a compilation of many addons/mods (and I picked the worst of the worst). Nevertheless, there are people who play WoW that way. At the very bottom center you can see his FPS is 8, lol.

ouch his loss an they love to overkill it with mods. Im surprised there arent any nods to Call of Duty in WoW..............actually I better keep my mouth shut or else they will all start coming out from the woodwork.

Aside from everything popping up, like Iwantcable showed, it does look awesome.

Until Whiskey posted how to shrink the emblems on the screen, there were many times in CoD I missed shots at people because of things covering them.

There can be too much data sometimes.

I don't have a problem with data on the HUD as long as you have some control over it. I don't need the game to show me how many points I got for a kill in 72 point font nor do I need it to show information regarding my kill streak or the player I just killed (the avatar and such).

I honestly think they're too concerned about rewarding/praising players for every kill they make (BUZZ KILL, X KILL STREAK, +175) - it's just a gimmick and is unnecessary. Again, if you the average player wants it go ahead, but give the rest of us the option to disable it.

Exactly. They want to reward mediocraty for everyone.

I doubt they will make an easy way of turning it off. I hope they do, but it will probably have to be some console commands that do it in the end that someone else figures out.

I know thats for xbox, but I think it will apply to the MW2 on PC, always popping up just more annoying because they are bigger.

Also imagine the 54 player servers with the new kill streaks...

And I voted "It's too early to tell" simply because it is! I mean, they show us what they want to show us which is all the new fun stuff to make us excited and keep us thinking, right? So yeh.... It's too early.

What treyarch did was you can have regular mode with no hud. Maybe IW plans to do that.

Of course then they would be copying something from Treyarch.

The answer to me seems to be yes. Not enough emphasis on the actual combat and too much emphasis on actual customizations. Combine this with an overused engine and that leaves much to be desired. I am looking forward to BC2 more than this.
