Anyone else getting the trippy graphics glitch?

I can't get rid of it. Tried clearing cache. Guess I might have to do a graphics driver rollback.

I believe Evilspongebob had the same problem before but im not quite sure how he fixed it

Looks like some sort of weird shader issue.

Which drivers are you using?

Catalyst 9.8's. Worked for 1.41 fine. This was a fresh install of BF2 as well :\

It's a problem with anti aliasing. Only happens on some maps :|:

My screen goes absolutely gonzo when I get hit by a flashbang, I almost had a legitimate seizure, and thats never been a problem before.

I was playing with someone over ts and when he got flashbanged he genuinly thought the flashbang broke his pc.

Yes for both, I got this with 1.41 but it misteriously disappeared...

It came back with 1.5 and all I had to do was turn off my AA and it worked fine, game looks a little worse... but tis BF2.

It is useful being able to see people approaching from miles off and being able to ambush them. I like it!

TBH this is what I got from it at first, but on all the EF and AF maps I just got confused.

LOL, 1.51 here we come. Still haven't managed to get into a game on my desktop without it CTD, but my notebook is working flawless (both Win7 RTM).

If anyone is still getting this, the fix is to right click on the BF2 icon (either on desptop or start menu), go to compatibility and tick the "Disable desktop composition" box.

Then, when BF2 is opened, Windows 7 Aero Mode will be disabled. When BF2 is closed, it will be turned back on again. This could actually be public knowledge, but i've been away and haven't been keeping up really.
