Gah, and I bought the complete collection this week just for the expansions. Still, SF for £7.50 isn't bad. I can't believe they've made the patch 2GB though... couldn't they do an incremental for those who already have the boosters?

WTF are you on about? I had a 1.6GB file that took 2 1/2 hours to download yesterday. Not all of us have a fibre connection to the server nextdoor.

Huh? Is it that bad in UK? Here in Finland a 20M/2M ADSL2+ connection today costs almost half less than a 0,5M/0,5M connection 4 years ago.

I feel slightly ripped off that I bought AF and haven't played it, and now everyone will be playing those maps so I think it offsets the $10.

I can't even begin to describe how big this news is, if servers take to these new maps, we should start seeing some fresh map rotations for once. Almost feels like we're getting a new game here between 8 new maps and the elimination. This is great news, I just cracked 50,000 last night and should be getting my rank up at anytime now.

I had it reinstalled before my last format and it was still fun if not for some of the maps etc, I have heard good things about a lot of the stuff in the booster packs this should be fun

2GB isn't too much of a download, its just annoying if the net cuts out or something and you have to start up again, but I have a 4mb connection so meh
