Re: Should DICE stop making 1943 for the PC altogether?
Who does that? I've never bought a game in hopes that my money would go towards a better sequel. I buy Battlefield games because they're fun and provide lots of replayability.
Unless you have some sort of horrible disease and the doctor has given you only three months to live (in that case why aren't you in the Bahamas?), why would you write off a game simply because it's being released a few months later than what was estimated?
Wait, so you're saying they shouldn't release a game before it's finished...but they also shouldn't delay the game so it can be finished? What are they supposed to do, get a time machine and finish it in the future and then bring it back to the past for release? Of course it sucks when our favorite games are delayed, but it happens with every developer, including the almighty infallible Valve.
I bet the shareholders are furious now that BF1943 is the best selling XBLA/PSN game ever.

We didn't set their deadlines. They did. And they have failed to meet them. Now that they plan on pushing it back to the middle of next year... why bother? They're fired.
So now how many times do you let a company squeeze out a turd with the intent to polish it later or miss deadlines, by months or more, before you finally write them off?
