i jump over them on a daily basis. you end up in the bushes, where nobody is expecting you & can generally surprise the defenders. but walking along the wall? never even occurred to me to try it. i would agree w/ pirelli in that you would be an easy target up there.

pirelli i use it to let my team pin them down in the hallway next to cerbere, run past them and kill them. that you can can easely kill an entire attacking team without taking any dammage.

Back on topic, I notice that in addition to the main EA 2142 stats pages being down, http://www.2142-stats.com/ is also down.

If EA's is down, 2142-stats will go down. They are inherently linked. 2142-stats takes it's values directly from the EA stats server, which the EA stats website also does, just crudely.

Yeah, but in the past it has only got in the way of stats updates, rather than prevented the page loading (as you might expect).

              2124-stats works for me.

EA Stats doesn't. Can't even log into the EA website.

                  Hooray! :yay:

We can now once again marvel at how this guy got to number 12 with less than five days of playing...

Huh? It's showing he's got over 70 days playing, plus another 4:30 on NS. Or am I missing something?

Dude, forgive me: I looked only at the N/S time for him! :p

BUT... he is one of the people who recently came from nowhere and suddenly arrived in the the top 15 where previously he had not even been in the top 100.

NOTE: If you take his (actual) total play time (about 75 days - sorry) and multiply it by his score per min, you get about 286000 points. ...But his score is 467758!!!!!!

I just wonder how he made those extra 180000 points or so appear out of thin air.

i know who that is. he has been around a long time. BUT, he doesn't deserve his rank. he spent the majority of his bf2142 time on knife servers

Thing is, even knife servers can't normally give you points which boost your score without also boosting your score-per-minute.

Maybe he got some kills using ninjitsu or something, and that broke the stats counter.
                          :dontknow:

Do defib kills count as kills?

Yes, although you can not keep track of them specifically (unless you work at DICE - lol).

In any case MaOhNa's weird stats won't be due to that, as de-fib kills still contribute to your score per minute, ...and yet his spm multiplied by time played falls WAY short of his actual score.

I suppose at some point he used a modified game server which somehow awarded him a pile of points (like over 100,000!) without them affecting his spm.
