• No CD fix
• Show kills made by you and your squad in green like in BF2
• Fix kit saving
• Auto close spawn/customize screen when revived
• Fix supply drop always showing as available to squad leaders
• Fix wrong icons for EMP and orbital strikes
• Remove the half point for EMPing commander assets (or just remove the half point for EMPing altogether)
• Allow ground defense turret to zoom/unzoom while reloading
• Decrease recoil on RDX shotgun

What do you want in 1.51?

bf not to crash when i select nades on a kit that doesnt have them unlocked(that more complicated to get crashed but it happens).
no cd fix.
more noobs to pwn.
my hitreg to be fine.
fix the scoping whilst lagging(if you are lagging and scope in, you just scope out and in a random times and is confusing).
no more random sprint decrease to zero.
that the player i_smell_haxxxx is invinceble and can never be done any dammage:P

that last one was a joke for those who dont get it

I have loads of fixes and usability issues I'd like to see sorted out but a minor patch wouldn't have the scope to cover them. For example -

1: No un-escapable movies ever. I must have seen that walker thousands of times now. Why do I need to see the EA and DICE logos every time I start the game. Sure 1st time make them mandatory, after that when I want them to go - they go. Yes they can be deleted but then you can't tab out of the game. It almost seems like they did that on purpose!

2. Why is the front end interface so sluggish. I select an option, I get a click but nothing happens. Why, cos the interface is still catching up with my superhuman mouse clicks. Why is a simple front end running on a dual core 3ghz processor slower than the blob of jelly I got between my ears?

3. Sticky kit selection loadouts. I know you tried and failed miserably to implement this. Make it happen next time.

4. Map Scale Flakiness. In game why do I have to constantly change my map scale? If you had a car that reset your seat position every time you turned the steering wheel you would go mad within a week. I have one map scale, if I want another scale I will select it - why does the game constantly think it needs to be changed. Also the scale should be the same on all maps. On Shingle it's nice and big. If you zoom in you can actually make sense of close quarters combat. On Highway an enemy could be 50ft away and still his dot is practically humping yours!

5. Try Another Kit Sir. Kit selection screen, if you don't manage to get all your kit together in the 15 second countdown it just randomly jumps to another kit and you have to go back and do it again. In the name of Christ why?

6.The Screen of Death. I get killed and up pops the death screen. Then on the very very rare occasion that a team mate bothers to revive me - the screen stays where it is, leaving me scrabbling to clear it before I get inevitably kryloved in the back. The screen appears automatically - why does it not disappear automatically.


For 1.51 I would be happy if they closed the geometry holes on Bavaria and Shingle and added a new map or two but I ain't holding my breath.

Server stability, hit registration, and overall game smoothness.

It's not really until you play other games for a long time that you realise how laggy the game really is.

1. Go to your launcher shortcut and type this in the target properties:

I have the same shortcut to log me in automatically. I just think that having videos that you are forced to watch it a PITA on a game that is likely to be played over and over.

As for maps - I can't believe you havent noticed or maybe it is just me! If you spot some one your map scale changes. If you look at the scores it changes. Again PITA

I can't remember; does the map scale revert to the widest zoom when you q-spot in this game or is that only BF2? In either case it's irritating as hell. It all started when they implemented the feature that saves your zoom mode for different vehicles. Anyway, +1 to TrooperJac's suggestions. I lol'd @ the car metaphor, too.

I've been able to alt-tab fine after deleting my intro movies. It's always worked for me.

The map randomly changing zoom is annoying. It should stay the same regardless of vehicle, ladder, or spotting.

I have the same shortcut to log me in automatically. I just think that having videos that you are forced to watch it a PITA on a game that is likely to be played over and over.

Try adding +restart to the command line. That gets rid of intro movies but I'm not sure if it affects alt-tabbing. Whose idea was it to make them unskippable anyways? We know who made the game already, let us play!

+restart is for BF2, i don't think it works on 2142. just delete or rename movie files, that's what i do.

1.fix server crashing.
2.fix kit saving.
3.fix game losing dynamic lighting, especially after a round of camp-G and all maps played thereafter.
4.very unlikely, but fix x-fi mode crackling/static.
5.fix security loopholes, especially the one leading to stolen accounts.

I just tried this out, when you're critically wounded the spawn screen doesn't open automatically, only when you're killed. But I agree that it should auto close if you have it open and get revived.

Yes. I know you can delete the videos but doing so makes alt-tabbing out of the game a dicey business. Sometimes you can get back in and other times it just hangs. Anyway no big deal, they just shouldn't be necessary.

being able to alt tab requires the shortcut to have the EXACT same resolution as your native screen resolution.
I noticed that it takes alot longer to alt tab out when I'm running on a smaller resolution than the normal resolution.
