Werd. I use this one and it has the smoothest and most realistic feel out of any joystick i have ever tried. Plenty of buttons, all 3 axes of movement, and great feel in the hands.

It's a bit tight at first, but eventually it gets looser.

I have a X-52 and used it for BF2, though it is over kill for it really, especially considering the price difference between something else that is sufficient for what you need.

I had the predecessor to the 3d pro (infact I took it to the tip the other week, just seeing it brought back memories :wee and it was very good bit of kit especially for the price, plently of buttons and fairly reliable, but it is Logitech so they'll fairly good for covering their stuff just incase!

My original Logitech extreme 3d pro had centering issues, but I still used it for a few years.

I then got a cyborg evo I believe (one of the saiteks) and absolutely dreaded the feel of it. I returned it, and bought a new extreme 3d pro, and without the centering issues, it works perfectly.

The x52 looks over-the-top, and a waste of space.

I would recommend an extreme 3d pro, but if your going to go for something else thats cheap, make sure it has twist rudder controls.
