I'd like players to be able to swim underwater and be capable of a melee attack underwater. I'd also like the option for players to be able to loadout with a fully closed circuit rebreather so it would be possible to assault by water without detection. If you don't have a rebreather then someone could spot you by the bubbles coming up from the water.
- Fully customizable loadouts that include weight as a factor. Weight effects sprinting time, jump height and overall movement.
- Being able to carry "water". Your character doesn't actually drink it but having more water than the next guy will give you extra sprint time.
- Commander player interface.
- Lots of sea combat and vehicles.
- Squads of 8.
- Squad labels so other players know what the gameplay interests of the members in the squad are (Recon, Armor, Air Assault, Infantry, etc.).
- Being able to hitch rides on top of supply tracks and other vehicles and/or be able to hold on to the exterior of some vehicles and fire from them. Think about being able to sneak into an enemy position by hitching a ride on top of a supply truck or by holding onto the back of a boat.
- Working voice communication.

Putting all your armor in one squad isn't that great of an idea. Pairing infantry with armor works much better so I don't really understand the point. What exactly are you calling recon? Don't understand why you would want a squad full of recon either.
I think I prefer just being able to name the squads.
I don't expect to see either in the game, but IMHO SCUBA gear would be better for the gameplay, since it leaves a nice bubble trail that you can throw grenades at.
Mate its still action man stuff and not what BF games are normally about.Maybe in a navy seal pack or something BCish
You do realise that BF is an arcade game, there's a lot of things far more irrealistic than diving to avoid ending like some emmental cheese. But I do agree it's a minor point of gameplay.

Since when is swimming and diving "action stuff" O_o
I doubt they'll add it, but it's not like it's unrealistic.
Do tell me what the BF games are about then? Spamming grenades? Getting revived back to life instantly after suffering mortal wounds? Flying jets that travel at 1/10th of their actual speed? Or repairing a tank by just magically holding a tool up to it? What about sprinting into a room full of enemies and killing 5 of them with a shotgun? That's certainly not action stuff.

As long as you don't have a problem with that stuff I agree with your comment. Well spamming grenades can be toned down a lot.

I don't have a problem with it at all. :wee:
It's a game and a fun one at that. I think taking those things into account brings into focus why rebreathers wouldn't necessarily be out of the question, although I doubt that's the path DICE is planning to take.
