Guys, its 2009. We know that the game has already been in development for a while.

Most games do not take 4 years to develop. Especially ones without single player campaigns.

2013 is a ridiculous estimate.

Late 2010 to mid-2011 is a much better estimate.

Very good optimism, but thats not how DICE rolls.

Also, if they release the game too soon its going to interfere with some other titles, thats a bad marketing move.

I think 2013 is a bit long, but its not impossible. I am still sticking with my 2012 to 2013 statement because we dont know what else is going on with EA or DICE.

Honestly though, it's really hard to say because they haven't released any information about it at all, besides the fact that it is in production

He was transferred to another job inside EA iirc, not sacked. I mean, whilst not perfect, it's not exactly caused many problems.

yeah i have a feeling they'll surprise us. bf2 and 2142 were kind of a surprise from what i remember.

BF2 was a surprise in how ****ty it was after the gameplay settled and jets/tv missiles started dominating, and surprised even more with the patches that made the game even more ****tier.

No it's not. One thing we know already for certain is that it won't be released before Q3 2010 (or was it Q2?)

Q4 2010 at earliest to let everyone purchase BC2. Q1 2011 more likely, and Q3-4 2011 most likely.
