Well i think we can close this thread since the official release is march 3rd (says EA via email for pre-order).

yes but bf3 every vet wants will be years off!.It has been confirmed for the next game after bad company 2

Well, yea. BF3 is the successor to BF2 and BC2 is the successor to BC1.

BF3 has been announced as "in production", but you won't hear anything else to post BC2.
