Im pretty sure its to eliminate resistance in the red circles and capture them, you can repair some wrecked vehicles on the map with some stuff, maybe im thinking of domination.

Sums it up best for me, I actually went and bought it just to play with friends. The latancy compensation online, or rather the lack of it, really kills a lot of the online play for me. Connected to a server that i had an 8 ping to and the games ports opened, I still see people 'glitching' around everywhere now and then.

Do you have a certain server you guys play on? I really would like to learn how to play the game better but none of my friends own the game.

Thats definitely a server or map problem. If your running it on a local PC & not a dedicated server your in trouble. If your running evolution then even more so. Poorly optimized and over ambitious maps are a bain on the arma series. We run over 100 people on our maps with no warping.

Do you have a certain server you guys play on? I really would like to learn how to play the game better but none of my friends own the game.

filter your server for Charlie at around 8pm British Summer time (3 Eastern time) or around 7pm Eastern Standard time (if your American) and you will get a good game.

Yes, look for the server name Battlefield MyIS. [MyIS]Crrrazzzy and myself play on that server almost every night.

See, if I was to play this game, I would want to be in something like Charlie Foxtrot. I checked out the FAQ on that page and it sounds really fun.

Mickd, thanks for the info. Good to hear you can play internationally like that. Now, I have to figure out why my game keeps crashing after about 10 mins before I would purchase the full game...

Ok I got online and played some berzerk but I could not figure out how to capture the towns. Also which channel do you type in for people on your team to see what you type in. I was typing in questions but no one ever replied so not sure if they saw my messages that I was typing in.

AFAIK thats not an option, unless somebody has explicitly coded it into the mission you are playing.

Back on topic: I played for about 3 hours last night and got a total of 2 kills lol. But I had fun. There was no pressure to see how many kills I could get. I could take my time getting set up with my sniper rifle. Granted it did get boring at times but I still was enjoying my self. I am trying to get away from rank and stat addiction from BF2 lol.
