Who is going to get this game? I see Steam is taking pre-orders for it now with a release date on there for June 26. I have watched some videos on the game and it looks pretty good. I didn't like the first one but I am willing to give this one a try.

Its going to be released on the 19th of june, pre-order from steam is about £6 more than any other shop i have seen, i liked the first one, so i will probably get the second, ive seen some Vids and it looks epic

Yeah I am getting it, not pre-ordering it on Steam. Since you get it on the 30th on Steam and the 19th in the shops, Steam fails with pre-orders aswell, always problems. Have it pre-ordered in my local gamestop, definitly looking forward to it

Well here in the uk its 19th america its the 26th, but On Overclockers UK people have bought the German version and just got the unofficial Language patch.

If you are willing to wait until the start of August (31st of July) I would wait, but I am not :p I should have enough monies to get them both, get paid a couple of times between the 19th and the 31st of the next month.

Get ArmA 2 if you want the real military simulator.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising:

- Exploding red barrels
- No Leaning
- No Airplanes
- No Civilians

It is in no way fit to compete with ArmA 2.

A realistic military simulator?

Oh, nevermind the 7.62 lodged in your head. Its nothing serious, but I am bleeding badly.

Sorry, but ArmA 2 just wins here. Dragon Rising will be a fun game to play on console, but if you want the true, serious military simulator on PC, then get ArmA 2.
