We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
They need to compute an overall performance value from select user data: once that simple system is in place, it should be easy enough to add an auto-balance that takes this value into consideration.

I doubt they can implement something like this in BF2, but it's something to look at in future titles. I'm pretty sure Heroes has something of this nature in place for matchmaking purposes, it should be possible to adapt it to autobalance.
I would have to agree Wolf, if the clan owns the server they should consider balancing out teams, to prevent rage quitting, at the same time you will always have none-clan based players switching sides to the winning teams.
It would be nice if an algorithm took the average team score, average kills and deaths and according to that balance the teams. It would probably be possible, but I doubt it would be implemented.
You win some and you lose some. Natural selection and rage quitting always evens out teams over time.
Just to clarify things a bit I'm not talking about the US team beating the MEC team three or four rounds in a row with scores like 12-0, 36-0, 48-0, 60-0. I'm talking about when the US team beats the MEC team three or four rounds in a row with a massive imbalance in tickets, something like 160-0, which clearly signifies an imbalance, especially when it happens round after round.
In situations like this, many times the other opposing team cannot even leave the spawn and if they do they are quickly discovered and dispatched.

Do keep in mind that sometimes, this imbalance is unavoidable as it is the result of one individual's actions: consider the jet pilot who takes 30 seconds to destroy both jets and an additional 30-60 seconds to take out the attack helicopters... he's going to baserape and prevent the other team from accomplishing anything. All that his team needs to do at this point is walk to a flag and eat a hot dog while the new flag goes up.
You can't really do much in situations like that. Often enough, it's the actions of a handful that determine the outcome of a game... and you can't always separate them.

Your right, there is no fix possible for BF2, but maybe for future games. I was just floating the idea around to get your thoughts and opinions since it's something that's always bothered me.
Again, that can potentially be solved by adding increased air defenses to uncaps and/or limiting the amount of times a player can consecutively fly a plane, a in-game queue list would be a good idea for certain vehicle types.
Well, another thing that causes this problem is server rules. When a server has rules against soloing, I have a lot of problems with this same thing. What happens a lot is: clan with anti-soloing rule has a skilled/semi-skilled chopper team. They take the chopper for their team every round. The pub team has one of two things happen: random newbs hop in the chopper and get pwnt time and time again, or one person tries to run solo and gets kicked immediately after killing the clan chopper crew. Too many clans make and enforce rules that only benefit people operating as a clan, such as the "no soloing" rule.

It's called self-interest. Clans are big on that.
Also, many clans/server owners love making others follow rules they themselves don't abide by.

Well, I tried to avoid being antagonistic, but there you go. Who watches the watchmen? This is the single biggest argument against ranking systems in my opinion. The fact that one person can be certain to get the best score, as they can ban anyone who could possibly beat them, means the ranking system is a sham. And of course EA/Dice love getting money for nothing more than allowing people to play their games. So they never do anything when it comes to abusive admins or servers that violate the TOS.

Meh, would ruin teamplay if you found yourself on the opposite to your mates side every round :p
You think that stacking sides is the answer..... that is exactly the the one point you are advocating. I quit playing on servers run by clans because they dictate all the rules no matter what they do wrong. I am not implying that you fall into this category but why play when the sides are not balanced. I know it is only a game and should'nt complain but what the ****. Stacking sides unfairly simply ruins gameplay for everybody and should at least be addressed............someday. ( yeah DICE )
