I never ever played any of the early BF games but watched the development of BF2 with keen interest and once released it didn't disappoint, 2142 In game play terms is just a step up if you can distract yourself form the future settings. Even though I do find the COD game fun they just don't have the same teamplay as BF but it's a pity BF couldn't take a leaf out of their book for graphics.

I love bf2 even though I'm total sh*t at it.. Bf 2142 I got the other week and it got soo boring I haven't played it since.. But CoD is always fun! and the single player games are just as great as the mp so I guess it's my fav series.. Also CoD3 was the first game I ever played online and got hooked

I don't think it has been released yet so as graphic go cannot comment, as for COD, Call of duty 4 and world at war have both been released and graphic wise surpass any of the battlefield games so far.

There are loads of screenshots and video previews about.

The graphics look as though they've been worked on pretty hard. Still, I realise that it remains to be seen (literally) how they appear, and how they affect gameplay while playing in real games.

i think the future setting makes it more beleivable how quick and athletic the soldiers are like they are given combat drugs and they have special gear on that helps them run faster, jump higher and stuff.

on the note of graphics and gameplay i really hope EA/dice put some good time and effort into a superior, reliable, bug-less moving and shooting system that provides nice smooth enjoyable gameplay at all times, maybe make the balistics a littttle bit more (but not exactly) like the cod games where you actually have to lead your shots rather than shoot right at people. and Maaaybe make some weapons (such as heavy machine guns and sniper type weapons) able to fire through certain materials i mean it makes sense to me anyways.

I really hope so... it's ridiculous how unstable the 2142 engine really is. Things lag out constantly, such as being stuck in scoped mode or having it scope again by it's own while you just scoped out... multiple knife hits on stationary opponents not hitting. Constant micro stuttering etc etc
