God no. It works for CoD or say TF2 but in a large scale game like BF, absolutely not. It would make snipers a lot less effective, and ruin most kinds of sneaky play.

Infact I wish the would just remove all UAVs and scanning devices all together. 2142 went wayyy overboard with that.

The BF series have excellent sound, people should use their ears instead of seeing all enemies like small dots on a map.

There are no Spectating and freeroam cams in BFBC which is frostbite.
Since 1943 and BC2 use frostbite im hoping these games are more like BC1 than anything else Dice has produced.

Yeah back in the day, Roger Wilco and a free cam was all you needed to own a server. We used to call it ghosting, In RB6 matches my clan had a dedicated ghost. The opposing force never had a chance with our guys knowing everything about them, even when they were taking a dump.

Killcam is a nice feature, but I dont think I want to see it in Battlefield.

1. Its annoying in CoD.
2. It gives away positions and makes the game easier for me to seek revenge.
3. It doesnt stop hackusations. I was banned last Sunday on a CoD server that had killcam. It didnt stop anything.

I agree with that point the most, because in my opinion kill cam actually increases hackusations. If a player is unfamiliar with the game, or you just happen to get a lucky wall/smoke shot, then the kill cam will only reinforce their doubts and therefore lead to a higher possibility for kicking/banning.

Also, a lesser point is the glitches that come with the kill cam (i.e. the reload animation glitch in Call of Duty 4). Players would watch the kill cam, see the glitch, and often claim that you were hacking - simply because they weren't familiar with known bugs in the system.

There are more flaws and downfalls to having a kill cam system than there are benefits, in my opinion.

These are just the sort of nubs that ruin CoD, if you are sniping or clipping etc, in a certain area, you kill them. And then they will come ALL THE WAY across the map, out of their way, JUST TO KILL ME!

I'm not too sure about that. I can't think of a single PC FPS that doesn't have some sort of freecam/spectate mode. CoD4 on the consoles doesn't have anything like that, but the PC version does.

Not wanting freecams and other cameras pretty much destroys competitive play, machinima, etc. I've never had a problem with freecams, even when playing competitively. Maybe you need to work on your skillz if you're having problems with them.

No, you can actually cancel some animations (AK47 and 74u are the clearest examples) but there's also a killcam bug that improperly displays the reloading animation.
