Apple is in talks about taking over EA games, OH NO! This could mean disaster for the future of the Battlefield franchise.
EDIT: Hurry up and announce BF3 so we can have a discussion section. How about a BF3 or future BF title discussion section with a BIG DISCLAIMER that says "all info speculation, game(s) not yet announced"!
Even if Apple did buy EA, they wouldn't all of the sudden stop making games for the PC and shift to Macs. There is a larger market for PC games than there is for Mac games. It makes little financial sense for them to change anything about what they are currently doing.
I don't htink EA would want less profits. Think about it, no playstation titles, no xbox titles, no nintendo titles, no PC titles. That is a lot of revenue EA would lose by letting themselves become a 1st party developer for macs or (god forbid) an apple games console.
Considering the ominous, new new console until 2013 prediction times are ripe for a new comer to swoop in and steal the market. I think a scary Apple PC/console could be in our future.
