What's the most used weapon in this game?

Hey guys!

Thought I'd get everybody's opinion on this. What do you think, is the most used weapon in Call of Duty World at War? Which one do you have the highest chance of running into?

May the 30 page debate begin



Now for me I'd say it's the SVT-40 !

thats one thing about this game other than maaaaybe the PPSH smg i dont see any weapons that are imbalanced and used alot more than others. i see everyone using different weapons alot of the time

I'd say an SMG. Probably the Thompson.

First of all I want to see a patch that gives some worse sway to the PPSH. The guns I see the most often is usually PTRS, Type 99, and all of the different bolts.(I can't tell which bolt from the kill picture most of the time)

Thompson. Type 99 a close second.

You see the MP40 used a lot by consolers that are playing on PC, but they soon dump the gun when they find out its not like the console.

I still use MP40 and not been on console :rawr

Anyway, Thompson, Type 99 and ppsh (depending on rank).

What I am trying to say is I see a lot of people start with it then after a few deaths they change and never go back to it.

Yeah a lot of my friends who play this on console use MP40, and they say it's used the most. But actually didn't think of Thompson, and I have to say I think that's what I come across the most..

no clue, they are all widely used

but this game is nothing like any other fps in the way of gun favoritism. i actually didnt notice that until you asked that question, but really i cant think of any gun being "teh pwnzor" unlike cod 4 or bf2. they did a great job balancing.

It's pretty spread out, but I can't go a round without seeing a Thompson lying about.

M1(a1) Carbine or M1 Garand? Because nobody seems to use the Garand except me lol

Funny how COD-WaW is so bashed yet all of you are saying it's so well balanced and you can't find a weapon seen more then others!

The only weapon bashing I have seen on WaW is from the consolers and the MP40. Other then that, the weapons are balanced.

Its the other complaints about the game that everyone bashes. And using a flame thrower, last stand, martyrdom, or rifle grenades.

That is what I mean't Crunch. I mean people are saying the gameplay is horrible and it's COD2 but better so we might as well play COD2 (which is a crap arguement). Anyway I was a big COD2 fan so I'm very happy this new WW2 game came out. See the funny thing is people say WW2 is overdone. But it's only overdone if you have several WW2 games. Because other WW2 games made do not even effect you anyway so where's the problem?

I salute you Treyarch for making this well-balanced fun-to-play game. I really love it. :salute:

Now back on topic. I think the Thompson is the most over-used. What do you guys think?
