It was funny at the time, crazy missile patch - donna how the flyers thought at the time, think it was 1.22 :/

Well it's still not balanced, F-35 vs J-10. J-10 is not the problem, and never was it was the F-35 which is underpowered, and should be replaced by a F-22 or something. Just load up Fushe Pass and play some F-18 vs J-10 fights you will see that they are almost equal.

Of course the f18 and j10 are balanced. AA missiles don't work on either of them. Since they can hardly kill each other, they are free to rain hell on ground forces, so how in the hell is that a balanced game. Once again, the issue isn't balance between aircraft. The issue is AA missiles that simply DO NO WORK! If the AA missiles were made to not work on the f35, it wouldn't fix anything. If you get a lock tone and fire a missile, unless it gets foiled by flares IT SHOULD HIT THE FLIPPIN TARGET, regardless of what maneuvers the jet is doing. weather it be from the ground or the air. I mean, from the ground, you get like an instant to shoot at jets anyway. Why not give our men on the ground a fighting chance and make AA missiles hit their mark, regardless of the aircraft being flown, or the SAM site!

I must be missing something here, because i can't seem to dodge AA's that effectively. Missiles from other jets seem much more easier to dodge than AA missiles.

When i use the aa, i make sure im not pointing at the flares (using the screen to crop out any flares) and then i just fire at the plane and it usually hits. It doesnt seem like an issue to me. Plus, i dont try to kill them head on, i stand beside the aa, wait for one to fly by, then get in and fire, which usually results in a kill.

              Re: Jets in 1.5?

Standing by the SAM is a good tactic, but SAM based AA and aircraft based AA both can be thwarted quite easily by the nimble fighters doing a corkscrew. That is the problem, you should not be able to "dodge" AA. If it has a lock and flares do not come between the jet and the AA, the jet should get hit, regardless of what maneuvers the jet is pulling.

                Re: Jets in 1.5?

Well, to be honest I didn't have any problems with F35 when flying against a J10 or 2 of them, except if they have a bit of a brain to do teamwork and give me a trouble.

Everyone is talking about hitboxes but when I fire 5 missiles at a J10 it is %95 dead.
And %5 is most likely the dodging part which I can do in a Mig myself either.
About my ping: I most likely get a ping around 70-150. Usually above 100.

And in case you guys haven't noticed, the maps where there is a J10, the stall altitude is lower than other maps, which means it is very easy to go high and do a strato run to lose a jet or a missile if you do it right.

It was already balanced in any ways possible I think.

For the AA, If a team knows how to play the power of the AA will be doubled-tripled for the team as well. It is just the strategy..

If you complain so much about these stuff then why don't you try getting better instead?

If you complain it means you care and if you care I just can't understand why you can't try looking at this with a different angle and turn the disadvantage in to an advantage.

... for the same reasons people kept complaining about soloing.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, b*tch and moan.

You must be flying against some awful pilots if you have "no problems" against the j10 with the f35, do they even turn? You can dodge in a mig, but can you do it in an f35 and if you could, would that make things better? No it would not, it would free up the aircraft that cannot hurt each other to bomb the ground. Bottom line, the whole concept of "dodging" missiles ruins air combat in this game. Missiles that flares do not thwart should hit their target. That is what would make really the entire game balanced.

How do you know i am not really good and just want the game to be better? And ya, i care if the game plays as intended. I enjoy sitting down to a game that is well balanced where the players get to use working equipment.

Maybe that's why some people ***** about soloing. I do not like it because a two man crew with communication can do so much more than a single soloist. Pilots can do evasive maneuvers, scanning for targets and looking out for threats. The gunner can be blasting people with his cannon for extended periods of time, because he does not lose control every time he switches seats. Its unfair to the team to solo. I know that may be a hard concept to grasp.

Roger, soloers don't mind good pilots/gunners. Soloers mind beginners who don't even point you at targets not to mention that they never switch to TV missile :)

That's no noob, It's just the Gunner is so pro he can take out tanks with the Gattling gun. Mad skillz.

And it might be hard for you to grasp that soloers of my talent can dance around 90%+ of your two-man teams, despite their greatest efforts and communication.

If you introduce a second element to the helicopter, you add so much more potential for failure that sometimes, it's preferable to go alone: when you become a proficient pilot, gunner and then soloer, you will understand this.

Until then, you're just part of the group I was initially referring to.

PS. at the underlined: clearly you haven't seen Cynic or myself wreck b*tches. Unless the two-man team includes an amazing pilot that constantly ranges and anticipates our moves, it won't make any difference how much more you think they can do simultaneously.

everything you just said is wrong. ya you might be a great soloer. but a great helicopter TEAM is just better than you, period.
