Just flank him or shoot someone else. Just because there's health regen, doesn't mean that people somehow are impossible to kill. And if you waste 2 minutes trying to kill the same guy, well then you sort of - excuse my wording - suck and need to practice some more.

Totally agree. This game doesn't need to be like COD just more like Battlefield. Teamwork plays a big part in making Battlefield more enjoyable than games like COD (for me anyway).

@ KALO, Yes i know bunny hopping is easy enough to beat , that's what am saying, if i have just shot somebody with a sniper rifle, i enjoy watching them bunny hop down the road away from me then i just blast him with a body shot and he is toast , but if BC2 has Regenerating Health you can kiss good bye to all that and more.


Regenerating Health is not Battlefield's style, its more '' RUN & GUN '' style, and Battlefield has never been about run & gun, DICE are trying to copy COD4 because is sold a massive amount of copies, that's all, end of, no other reason !!!!!!!!!!

You took a hypothetical statement and misunderstood it as an insult. I'm not saying you suck, I say you would suck if you were in the situation you mentioned.

... In CoD, your health starts to regenerate after 6 (I think) seconds. I doubt it will be this short in BC2, since it's much larger scale. 6 seconds is plenty to shoot him again anyway, unless you need to place your crosshair half a kilometer in front of him.

Ohh my goodness. The amount of ignorant posting grows every day when it comes to the Battleifled series.

A little change should not mean -

"omg wut, regen healtherating? i do not wunt to play bf anymor!"

It will NOT make that much of a difference, for all I can see is that it makes the whole health thing less annoying and you can stay alive longer. Alas this rids of the medic class - but does that really matter that much?

If you want teamwork, buy the game and play it with your friends.

If you want points for your teamwork, then play IO.

I don't mind if Regenerating Health if its in SP, but the second i find out that Regenerating Health is in MP then i will stay well clear of this game, its the only game I'm looking forwards to aswell for more than the next 12 months.

I hate Regenerating Health in COD, and the only time i think it has worked well, IMO was in Halo 1, and maybe that was because it was not MP.

I don't buy games to play SP, I only enjoy playing MP and I only play SP for a few hours before going online for the very first time so i can get used to the controlls and so it makes me less likely to be cannon fodder online.

Yes some people might be bothered by running about the map looking for medics, but medics and Regenerating Health is not the only 2 ways it can be done, they could put health boxes all around the map to go to heal your self, pretty much like the ammo boxes in SP in BC1 just lots more of them, least then you don't have some NOOB medic running away from you as you are screaming '' I NEED A MEDIC '' , and there is probably 10 more ways they could make the health system work, but IMO Regenerating Health is the very worst way of doing it.

E3 should hopefully let me know if i still can follow this game or if i have no games to look forwards to for the next 12 months.

I think Regenerating Health Is the very worst thing that DICE could ever do to BC2 , or any other game for that matter.
I feel that its going to make the game too '' casual gamer '' for my liking

I think it's a good thing. It'll make each firefight a lot fairer and mean I don't have to run for miles to find a medic :)

It's not gonna get casual just because of regenerating health.

No one can say if it will be good or bad until we try it in-game. Although other games use a similar health system, it's not a certainty that it will work exactly the same way.

It's a game, people. Be open to change and trying something new.

But why? There is no reasoning behind the claim.

If I get shot - I regen health after 20-30 seconds versus, I get shot - and go to one of the plentiful ammo/health boxes everywhere. Neither is worse or better, and whatever they put in BC2 I really don't care because in the long run, whats the difference? Health systems are a small part of the game, and IMO health regen makes online firefights more even and less random upping the skill and bringing down the random-ness ratio, which is always good.

Because with health boxes dotted around the map, after been shot you can't just hide 5 feet from where you were shot, you ned to break cover and run for health = BIG DIFFERENCE

I think they should have both a slow regen and a medic to heal u faster or revive from death
