Hmm, but BF3 will probably be more bigger with no singleplayer campaign. Just like bf1 and bf2. Time will tell.

But since you work for Dice, can't you give us a little hint about bf3 ? :cry:

I am not going to add fuel to any speculations here.
But talking about BC2 still: having a singleplayer component does not mean that there is less resources on multiplayer. It just means we had to add more people to the team to do the singleplayer component. We are NOT compromising multiplayer in Battlefield bechause of singleplayer. Not a chance!

Im not really a PC guy but good to hear the focus is on multiplayer primarily. If I read right. Do not get me wrong, single player will rock but I hope the player count is upped alittle on consoles.

When I read about the focus leaning more on mulitplayer, I got excited because this meant that they are trying hard to make a really good online game. I think thats what DICE should focus on, is the multiplayer. Some ppl like single player some don't, for me I couldn't care less about single player. Ohh yea DICE, plz add more players, this would add to the muliplayer.

BAd news is that since BC2 is winter 09, "BF3" is at least 2010. That means that Bf "3" will potentially be released 5 years after bf2. 5 god damn years. I am currently playing a game that is almost 5 years old, please DICE, please, you have done and given nothing, nothing to PC gamers and continue to give to console gamers.

1943 , and heroes do not count. I dont know who they are for, but I sure as heck dont want them. I know the development cycle is a year long at best, I used to do qa, I know how long it takes, why are you stalling ? What in the world are you waiting for ? People are just getting more and more jaded as time goes on.

BF3 is too much of a gamble, its way faster and more profitable to make these kinda sorta, half and half, somewhat ok games and get a cheap buck on them then it is to dedicate the time and resources to make a great BF3.


With games like Operation Flashpoint Dr, Arma II and others coming out this year the hardcore gamer market will be covered nicely, just not by dice.
