We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
I kind of agree about the vehicle thing, but it does look pretty tight once you get into the buildings. Could end up being a death trap for vehicles.
From the interview it sounds like the big concern was the attacking force just getting descimated by the defenders before they could even get into the city - ala Wake Island.

I can't remember if they ever stated whether the base at the start (BF2 version) is on the other side of water or if it's landbridged somewhere. Making it water would just be a sick joke. AT d00ds for the boats, snipers for the (lol) swimmers. Like Gator without the choppers. Well, maybe not quite that bad since it wouldn't be as long a swim. Since there are no amphibious vehicles in 2142 I'd assume it's been frozen over (as the screenshot seems to indicate), which means it's more balanced, but I can barely stand having one APC per side on Berlin and Belgrade...much less TWO of the chuffing things. If both sides get two it would be ridiculously spammy, and if only the EU gets them and the PAC doesn't then that's pretty cruel as well.

You make good points, but I'm assuming the attackers in BF2142 will get tanks to counteract the APCs at the start. I hope.

Well we know from the screenshot that the EU will get two tanks and four FAVs in addition to the two APCs, so I guess it remains to be seen whether the EU is the attacking or defending team (with that kind of hardware, I hope to Christ they're not the defending team...imagine the mortar spam and long-ranged tank kills you'd get on a small map where you can see into the uncappable :shock: ). I'm still anxious to play it, though.
