placebo effect, you think it so any time you get bad reg you instantly attribute it to him tweaking, this is precisely why i don't play esl anymore to many people whining about the omgwtfbbqtweakingcheaters

As far as servers kicking for it that is not true, some servers now enforce EBL level 1 and 2 external ban restrictions but I don't believe they kick for hitfixer, it is the hotkey program. I know people with g15 keyboards have had issues with this, but those setting are put on by server admins, they are not required by ea or Pbbans

Correct, level 2 kicks for use of auto-hotkey, so using hitfixer will often get you kicked from servers running this setting with the message "disallowed program/driver".

But most of tweaking is a big myth it turns out. Some EA/DICE employee/representation made a statement on it after testing hitfixer himself. Essentially what he found was that any differences post-tweaking were that graphically for the tweaker, it would look like they were hitting more (more hit indications) - however as far as the server was concerned, he would be hitting as much as he was when on default. Basically, benefits are placebo only. As kyle pretty much said, crap server, crap reg.

It's ok Chris, it's spreading further than ESL already :P I had one noob comment my video instantly accusing me of hitfixer. Yes... because you can SEE tweaks. Tools.

aren't they just, i remember playing on some french 3.02 server and i killed a guy and his whole team started trash talking about me and whining about tweaks .... i was like " how could you possibly tell that" .honestly im 90% sure that all european players have an extra part of their hud that hovers above any player that kills them saying "tweaker here".

what gets me most though is how people who know nothing just jump on the band-wagon. like the other day i was talking to C-Kinetic the leader of TeaM^ReZ and telling him i don't liek installing 3rd party software to join leagues and he instantly flares up saying "yeah we gotta keep all them ****ing tweakers out" i then asked him why he thought that and he said "don't ask me i know nothing about tweaking"... i facepalmed so hard i think i will have a hand imprint on my face for teh rest of my life ....

C-kenitic nearly got me banned for tweak cheating on a random server. i was kicked 3 times for suspect of cheating before but he then started ranting about that i used tweaks(latensy compensation to 150 instead of 100 because my ping on a dutch server was 150). that was when my internet provider had internal problems so i had a ping of 130 more.

hitfixer is gay. i played yesterday vs a guy with hitfixer. he was impossible to kill(side effect of hitfixer). i shot him 4 times with a herzog on point blank range, then emptied a krylov on him, and them i pistold him at the end... hitfixer can become of this worse than cheating as your bullets count more and theirs less so you are unkillable sometimes. that is why servers kick for hitfixer tweaks.

This is a fail post. How did you manage to herzog him then shoot him with your krylov and then pistol? Was he standing still? The side affects of HitFixer = none... When HitFixer came out EA deemed it to be useless and said it didn't work. People usually just say its like a *lucky cap* that you wear to a sport match or to some such degree. Also HitFixer is fully approved by PunkBuster. Just thought I'd throw that out there... Google can be quite good if you actually type something in :p

you just defend it because you use it. and yes i was able to shoot all that because he was standing still trying to kill my teammates on longrange.

yeah but regardless of that he is defending it, because he is using it. he even admitted using it for servers with a ping of over 100 ping(dunno about the lower ones as he is usa).

Doesn't matter if he defends it or uses it, it makes bugger all difference except visually (hence why lots of people, including myself previously thought it does work, because it "LOOKS" like it's working). In fact, if anything, by having another process running (either AHK or a hitfixer process) - you're actually causing more detriment to your performance, even if only by a tiny factor. If you're having problems shooting stationary targets, it's not that the target is using hitfixer, it's latency between yourself and the server, and potential packet loss.

Hence the reason I said that its like a "lucky peice of whatever." It may make people feel more confident. I haven't used it in a while but I know you def. feel better using it.
