do you think it matters if i use my laptop, that uses the wireless connection, or if i use my desktop, which it wired to the router via ethernet cable, to do this?

I would recommend something on a hard line (Ethernet).

I did love the first F.E.A.R. I would like to check this one out too. Possible a Game Fly rental.
