Hmmm, it's hard to be optimistic. I'd say that's the date they're aiming for but it's probably gonna be bumped all the way to, as an estimate, the beginning of December. But it's already surprising that they announced that and BF1943 for this year!

Companies that sell games sometimes set release dates for games like this, and then keep pushing it up until they get an official statement, at least with my experience. So I wouldn't be too optimistic.

That does not mean, however, that DICE is aiming for a rather early release. I just don't hope they rush it and make something stupid

Yeah, we were gonna add 64 player support and 16 other maps but we didn't have time so you'll have to settle for 1 map and 8 player deathmatch

The "Preorder" link on the BC2 homepage links here, so EA obviously agrees with the pages content.

Interesting to note that no PC version is listed.

hahaha ..we found the original release date, now they bumped the crap outa it, because oh no, now they know when its gunna come out..
