      it seemed obvious to me they'll make other maps like from the ones out of european theater. it doesn't make sense to do all that work for just a few maps.

        Yea, I figured they would do some more maps. The Pacific Theater was only part of the BF1942 experience.

          Keep in mind that the game is only going to be $15. They won't want everyone to be content with BF1943 when BC2 and BF3 are finally put out there for us to spend our $$ on as well. If they make this cheap little game "too good" then they're subsequent titles will have to compete against it. From a business perspective it doesn't make sense to compete against yourself.

          Don't get me wrong: I'd prefer to have every BF1942 map included and then some, along with a mod tool. I feel they do owe us PC BF fans a little love! :thumbsup: I still have more fun playing BF1942 than any subsequent release in the BF series. I hope BF1943 is a return to fun gameplay for the average gamer, not something that is geared more towards professional matching for us to watch on TV.
