The game is what you make of it. Battlefield is a great game, definately worth coming back.

Creating a new BF2 account will give you a new enegy to play. I would definately do this. Also do not forget if you are struggling to do well enough that the game is not fun, you can always find videos on youtube teaching techniques in everything.

    Enjoy playing again

I take breaks and every time I come back I enjoy it even more even though it took me 4 years to rank up to Major lol. Now what game could make you come back time after time.

LOL sorry I had just come out of a decent game when I posted that so I was actually feeling generous towards the game for once.

Ask me the same question now though... well two rounds of nothing but cheaters kicking the arse out of the game.

I played BF2 for the first time in probably a year just a few weeks ago and in that short amount of time I went on Moongamer's Karkand server only to find one hacktard instakilling everyone with the SAW (he was on my team so I followed him around to watch him bot...they don't even bother trying to hide it anymore =/ ), and I went on a Kubra server for two rounds which ended up being a mixed bag. The first round was pretty fun, but the second round was an exercise in 'try to guess which aircraft is going to rape you next'. Between the bomber and the attack helis I don't think I was able to actually drive a tank from one flag to the next without insta-dying. Losing control of the air in BF2 is the stuff that RAGEQUIT is made of. :rawr

Well I'll have to take your word until I get a computer that's good enough to run it.

lol L4D isn't too demanding, it's a source engine game.

                      Oh, I thought l4d was a higher-end game.

Well I might have to give it a go, then.

the graphics might be a little bit better than BF2 (I can't really remember) but it's way smaller so it should even out. and you can even lower the settings if you have to. source engine is very scalable and IIRC L4D is the only source game with true multi-threading support so it should run better than games like TF2
