Over a year ago I randomly joined a public server playing Operation Cleansweep. I was not there for one minute when I began getting awards every five seconds. I had no idea at the time what was happening. I was banned by an admin, I guess because i wasn't "supposed" to be there. Turns out it was a "rank up" server and the people on it were purposely ranking up. I went from my rightful rank of Colonel to 4 star General. I emailed EA at the time and asked them to fix it...but was ignored.
Well, you'll remember a few months back..they WIPED the stats of everyone that had an improper rank. (Some were wiped in error). I spent about 3 weeks emailing EA support to get restored to my rightful rank and they FINALLY did it after about 7 times of asking.
So last night I am playing as a 3 star General (EARNED) and I am playing on my clan's server. Suddenly, I began to get the good conduct medal....15 times in a row. Now I am a 4 star General AGAIN!!!
My question is...has anyone else seen this hack? and how was it done on OUR server? There are about 3 other guys that got bumped up to 4 STAR General. Now I fear getting WIPED again and losing all of my unlocks, especially since I have been playing fairly for over 3 years. I realize that BF2 is near the end of it's life cycle, but I enjoy playing with friends...and I also appreciate the rank and unlocks that I worked so hard for.
