I have only ever played 3 games consistently.Legend of mir, role playing game. BF1942 and now BF2.

Tomeis would you agree that you are lucky to be in a sitation to (i assume you live in he west) live in a first world country with a pc and a lot of disposable cash?
Would you agree that being able to buy a pc game for 40euros is very good value seeing as its very little money and it costs the company millions to produce?
Thus with this knowledge would you not say that complaining about this previlidge and saying its not good enough, this makes you ungrateful.

You have GOT to be joking. You're saying that he should never complain about anything ever because he lives in the free world? Out of curiosity, do you even read what you write before hitting 'Submit Reply'? You're saying he should thank his lucky stars that he has the 'privilege' of being allowed to buy a game? That he should, therefore, never be allowed to express his opinion unless it's a favourable one? Not only are you so far off the beaten track we'll need a GPS locator to find where you've ended up, but you've really taken the term 'fanboi' to an all new dimension.

You've obviously got some issues that go above and beyond video games in general, but out of curiosity, how do you think this 'free world' of which you speak came to be? Here's a hint - it has something to do with progress, and such progress comes about by the free exchange of ideas and opinions, many of which others may disagree about. So you see, by deriding him for being incomplacent, you are undermining the very reason that such freedom exists.

I'm thankful for what I have, but I don't go around thinking like that all the time otherwise I'd go crazy (like yourself) and spend the rest of my life every single day thanking someone(god? lol) that I am even alive. Wouldn't that be annoying?

Sorry, but I have standards and I won't buy any game that comes out just because I have money, and a bed to sleep in.

Millions of (euros pounds dollars i dont know) is spent to create something.

This millions that was spent upon this creation which makes it worth millions, costs you what $15-20.

Thus its like someone offering to drive you everywhere for a month for free. And you still managing to find something to complain about.


And the real point is, non of you have played the game or have any experience of it. So you are complaining over something that is not only almost being given to you, despite not having enough experience with the game to make a reliable opinion. To me this is not rational.

And do feel free to give a little to charity. Even if a tiny bit. If not to help, but to make you feel good that you made a difference.

Btw, according to your logic game reviewers, movie reviewers, TV show reviewers are all very bad people.

Here is why it will be awesome:

3maps are very very good maps.
Remake of a brilliant, but outdated, game.
A ranking system.
Destructable settings for the first time on PC
(hopefully) more vehicals than on BF2.
Good hitboxes (only real floor with BF2)
Squad system, which was lacking in the old game.
Frostbite engine.
Spawn killing does not gain points.


Have you seen the trailer? Doesnt it look fantastic? I know trailers make a game look better than it is, but it really does look brilliant.

You can argue the health regain and unlimited ammo will ruin team play. But in reality having only medics that can heal made them massively over powered in BF2. With 4 kits it will allow more diversity for infantry and make them more effective all round. And infantry is always inferior to vehicals, so the result can only be good.


The only bad thing is 24player cap. But for everything we are getting, it outweighs this massively.

Many people are burnt since 1942 and know what to expect now,that why we complain and as we are all battlefield soldiers i feel its my duty to complain for all of us so we get the game we all knew was battlefield series.

Battlefield 1942 made EA!, they make record profits and will always do so why bring money into this?.the millions u think it takes to develop a game you claim make them billions(thats common sence).

We do see your point dontknockit..... but we are the ones that fund EA to even be a company.They should ask us what we want and debate with fans if they really care what we want and what makes them sales(thats only simple marketing)

Oh, and destructible environments in BF1943 are not the first on PC. But hey, I don't expect any less from the guy that thinks DICE didn't make Mirror's Edge. Your point about the squad system confirms my initial thought that you've never played any BF game, ever.

BF1943 has three kits, not four.

Hopefully they will come to their senses. This game needs to be at 32 players and 48-64 would be great for PC.

Then again, this is DICE and EA we are talking about. Their battlefield brand is being whored around all willy nilly and DICE no longer does the "hardcore" justice.
