I believe bad company 2 will have single player support but not 1943. BUT we can hope there will be mod support for 1943. Maybe someone could mod a something in.

Oh My God! There are so many things that I love about 1943. The FrostBite Engine being on PC, the fact that it's downloadable and will only cost around 20 dollars, the joy I get when I think how great this will be if moddable, the idea of wielding a samurai sword on the battlefield, after watching the teaser again realizing that their will be no more pesky brownish "Fog" blocking your view, and most importantly that 1943 was not meant to be a stepping stone in the Battlefield Franchise, it was just something that some DICE employees did after Bad Company and the Leader of DICE thought it would be something cool for the community. These are all the things I like about 1943 and am glad to realize that 1943 isn't some stand alone in Battlefield, its just something a small group of DICE employees worked on to make us happy.

I like the idea of getting to try out the Frostbite engine on PC, the 'manual' AA guns, using a semi-auto rifle, but most of all that it has at last produced a positive thread on this forum.:thumbsup:

I honestly doubt EA will release any sort of SDK. They've been really stingy on that lately with their games.

POE has a excellent simple system to stop base rape( is a out of bounds for axis) ,its a wonder that idea wasnt used

Then you can't enter to destroy enemy assets. Not a problem in 1943 since there are none, but it wouldn't work for BF2. I prefer no points for killing people inside the base over no restrictions or the dome of death.

I think BF 1943 is going to be awesome. It's not a hardcorde game but its still going to be loads of fun. Can't wait to try the Frostbite engine as well. 1943 seems to be like any other battlefield game, did you see the vid where Patrick the producer of this game jump out of the plane and it crashed to a building and that thing just bounced far. Now imagine that beinga tank or someone you just want to piss off hahah.

LOL That gives me ideals with planes! See two enemy tanks below and you see a enemy plane ahead of you............no problem, gain altitude towards the tanks and bail out while it crashes into them destroying them! That would piss people off! I honestly see people doing stuff like that just for the heck of it!
